Share interests of Board of Directors and senior management
As of December 31, 2010, the members of the Board of Directors and senior management of Holcim held directly and indirectly in the aggregate 59,714,164 registered shares (2009: 59,708,758) and no rights to acquire further registered shares, and 68,000 call options on registered shares (2009: 114,288).

As of October 6, 2011, Thomas Schmidheiny directly and indirectly held 65,768,933 or 20.108 percent registered shares (2009: 59,567,887 or 18.20 percent)².

Eurocement Holding AG held 33,091,556 or 10.117 percent registered shares as of September 16, 2011.

Capital Group Companies Inc. held 15,996,300 or 4.8905 percent registered shares as of September 15, 2011.

The free float as defined by the SIX Swiss Exchange stands at 75 percent at year-end 2010.
